We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Don’t worry, if we can’t bill your insurance, visits are only $49.00!

Preparing For Your Visit

It’s easy to see a doctor online. Follow these simple steps.

  1. Click here to create an account by entering your name, email, create a password and agree to the Terms of Use, then click “Sign Up”
  2. Enter Hawaii as your location and enter your date of birth, gender, and our service code DOCNOW, click “Continue”
  3. Enter DOCNOW as your Service Key. If you have insurance please enter it as well as the Service Key which is DOCNOW. DOCNow accepts HMA, HMAA, HMSA, UHA, Kaiser Added Choice PPO and Mainland Blue Cross Insurance. If you do not have insurance we are offering a cash visit of only $49.00.
  4. You will be brought directly into the virtual waiting room where you should pick an available provider by clicking “Start Visit”
  5. Once you have completed the health questions, and provided payment if you are uninsured, you will be brought to a video waiting room. A DOCNow receptionist will then connect you before you meet with your doctor.

To Sign Up On A Computer View Instructions: 

Step 1: To sign-up for DOCNow please click here and enter your name, email, and desired password. Check the box “I agree to these terms” and then push “Sign Up”.

Step 2: Next, please enter your location as “Hawaii” and fill in your Date of Birth and Gender before pushing “Continue”.

Step 3: Please enter your Service Key which is DOCNOW.

If you have HMMA, HMSA, UHA, or Mainland Blue Cross health insurance please select YES for “Do you have health insurance?” and fill out the requested information.

If you do not have insurance select “No” you’ll be charged $49 for your visit. If you are going to use a “First Visit Free” Promo Code you’ll be asked to add that to your account later once you start your appointment.

You can also choose to “Skip this step” for now and fill in the information later. You’ll be able to add or update your insurance information before each visit. You’re all done, select “Finish” to move to complete your account setup.

Step 5: Well that was easy! Now simply select an available physician to start your telemedicine visit.  Please make sure that you see the DOCNOW logo on the right side of your screen under “My Services”. If you do not see it then you need to push “+ Add a Service Key” and type in DOCNOW to make sure you’re connected with one of our physicians.

Step 6: Make sure you’re login to your account. Select a provider who is active by clicking “Start Visit”.

Step 7: Next, select who the doctor will be treating today (self or child) and if you’d like to invite anyone else to the appointment for collaboration (optional). Select “Continue.”

Step 8: Next enter details about why you’re seeing the doctor today, confirm your mailing address and share with us your insurance provider. Don’t worry you can edit this later or opt to pay the $49 fee if you do not have coverage.

Step 9: You now have an option to fill in your medical history to help your doctor provide more personalized care. Please click “Share my health summary and medical history” to share this information with the doctor you’ll be seeing today.

Step 10: Select the pharmacy you’d like to pickup any prescriptions the doctor prescribes today after your appointment. If you have selected your preferred pharmacy during “signup” you can push “Continue”, if you’d like to select another pharmacy select “Another Pharmacy” before selecting “Continue.”

Step 10.a: If you decided to different pharmacy, you’ll be asked to select a pharmacy near you or you can search on the map. Once you select your preferred vendor please press “Continue.”

Step 11: Please select your preferred payment mention. If you have insurance please enter it, DOCNow accepts HMSA/Blue Cross, HMA, UHA, Kaiser Added Choice PPO, and HMAA . If you do not have insurance select “No” you’ll be charged $49 for your visit. If you are going to use a “First Visit Free” Promo Code you’ll be asked to add that to your account later once you start your appointment.

You can also choose the “Prefer not to answer” option for now and fill in the information later. You’ll be able to add or update your insurance information before each visit. Press “Continue.”

 

Step 12: Please provide a credit card. You will not be charged if you have valid healthcare insurance from one of our partners. Press “Continue” to enter the virtual waiting room. Next our DOCNow receptionist will check all your information and then connect you with your doctor to start your telemedicine visit.

Step 4: Login in to your account and select a provider that is “Available Now”.

The doctors profile will expand and you’ll see a little more information about them. To start your Telehealth appointment push “Select Provider”.

Step 5: Next, enter information about why you’re seeing the doctor today, confirm your mailing address, and note your insurance provider. If you’d like to include a photo of your medical condition please add it now (this would be helpful for a skin rash, scrape or cut). Check the box for “I have read and agree to the Notice of Privacy Policy” and push “Continue.”

Step 6: Next please select your preferred pharmacy. If you’d like to search for another pharmacy please select “Find Pharmacy” and select the Hawaii location that’s most convenient for you before selecting “Continue.”

Step 7: Next you’ll be asked to reconfirm your information to ensure the correct pharmacy was selected. Push “Continue.” Next please fill in your Medical History (optional) to help your doctor provide the best care. Press “Continue.”

Step 8: You’re almost ready to see your doctor! If you have insurance that we accept including HMSA/Blue Cross, UHA, HMA, HMMA, or Kaiser Choice PPO please enter it here. If you do not have insurance select “No” you’ll be charged $49 for your visit. If you are going to use a “First Visit Free” Promo Code you’ll be asked to add that to your account later once you start your appointment. You can also choose to “Skip this step” for now and fill in the information later. You’ll be able to add or update your insurance information before each visit. Select “Continue.”

Step 9: No matter what option you selected for payment method you’ll see a screen that says “we’re checking the cost of your visit.” Don’t worry, if you entered valid insurance you will not be charged for your appointment. Our receptionist will manually confirm this information before you’re are connected with your doctor.

Step 10: Last step! Please provide a payment method in the event your insurance is not confirmed. If you have a promo code please enter it now. Press “Continue” and you’ll be entered into the virtual waiting room and greeted by the DOCNow receptionist. She’ll check all your information and then connect you with your doctor to start your telemedicine visit.
